PDQ Print Services welcome you to our website where we hope to give you a feel as to just what we are about and perhaps offer you a reason or two as to why you might want to entrust us with your custom. We appreciate that most printshops appear to offer the same things at different prices but the reality is that print has yet to become a simple commodity - it’s a service industry and service needs people - we are those people with the skills and the equipment that you are looking for! We do take the time and always use our skills to your advantage. If you prefer the reassurance that dealing with ‘real’ people brings then be assured that this is a genuine business staffed by knowledgeable people who understand print. It’s not just blood that runs through our veins - its PMS 200 ink! The shop in Dundee is open Monday through Fridays from around 8am - 6pm and on Saturdays from 9.30am - 2.30pm. The webstore, of course, is 24/7.
PDQ Print Services is an independently owned business operating out of Dundee, Scotland. We have a wide range of equipment from photocopiers, digital presses, the latest waterless litho press and access to many more machines. Our operation has an extremely low environmental impact (no harmful chemicals and no film to dispose of). We offer a complete graphic design service to complement the production side of the business which is able to take a customer brief and present the finished article. We regularly produce magazines, newsletters, catalogues and menus together with a whole range of business stationery, forms and promotional items.
Another side of the business publishes a local business magazine and we also offer various related web services, including both design and hosting at economic rates.
Whatever your project or message, here at PDQ we are always willing to talk it thorough with you BEFORE you commit. This way you have the advantage of exploring which of the options might be best for you. You will find us totally honest and fair in our dealings - we have been known to refer our potential clients down other avenues if appropriate for them.
Equipment
We have a large range of equipment and can perform most, if not all, printing, binding and copying tasks. Rather than present you with an endless list of that equipment, as an alternative we list just some of the things we, and perhaps you, can do with it and you are always welcome to ask to see the machines when we would be pleased to show you around.
We can: Litho Print 4 colour process / spot colour / staple / die-cut / perfect bind / wire & comb bind books / laminate & encapsulate with matt or gloss film. The film can be thick as glass or as fine as a plastic bag / we can mount your posters to board / print your posters in colour or black & white / scan a drawing or a poster to 36” wide / write the file(s) to CD or DVD. Digitally print in colour or B/W to various materials at most sizes. We print, copy and scan architectural drawings / we accept files by Email on disk or via pigeon post. We print newsletters, leaflets, booklets, posters, flyers, magazines, stationery, postcards, order books and many promotional items. We also have a couple of copiers that you can use directly on a DIY basis which give you the ability to either copy or print in either B/W or colour at an economical rate.
